- Contact form: name, email address, subject, and message when you reach out to us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, referring URLs, and general usage data.
- Advertising and analytics identifiers, including cookies set by our analytics and advertising partners (see Section 5).
- Security-related data such as timestamps and bot-detection signals when you submit forms.
We do not knowingly collect payment information on this website. We do not offer account registration at this time.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Add you to our waitlist and send product updates, launch announcements, and marketing emails.
- Respond to contact form messages and customer inquiries.
- Measure website performance and understand how visitors use our site.
- Measure and improve the performance of our advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
- Protect our website from spam, abuse, and fraudulent signups.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with service providers who help us operate our website and marketing, and certain sharing may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under U.S. state privacy laws when used for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We work with the following categories of third parties:
- Kit (ConvertKit): email marketing and waitlist management. Receives your email, first name, and optional profession.
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram): advertising measurement via Meta Pixel and Conversions API. May receive identifiers, page activity, and hashed contact information when you join the waitlist.
- Google Analytics: website analytics and event measurement.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: bot protection on waitlist signups.
- Web3Forms: delivers contact form submissions to us. Your message is sent directly from your browser to Web3Forms.
- Upstash: rate limiting to prevent abuse (IP-based, short retention).
- Vercel: website hosting and infrastructure.
We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the site, analyze traffic, and measure advertising.
- Essential / functional: session storage used to remember waitlist and popup preferences during your browser session.
- Analytics: Google Analytics cookies (such as
_ga) to understand site usage. - Advertising: Meta cookies (such as
_fbpand_fbc) to measure ad performance and attribution. - Security: Cloudflare Turnstile may use cookies or similar storage when the waitlist form is displayed.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect site functionality. For U.S. visitors, we do not currently display a separate cookie consent banner; this policy describes our use of cookies and tracking technologies.
6. Email communications
When you join our waitlist, you agree to receive email updates about DuoView Pro, including our Kickstarter launch and Founders Edition offers. We do not currently use a double opt-in confirmation step; you are subscribed when the form is successfully submitted.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing founder@duoviewpro.com. Marketing emails will include our company name and mailing address as required by CAN-SPAM.
7. Data retention
We keep waitlist and contact information for as long as needed to communicate with you, operate our marketing programs, and comply with legal obligations. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we will remove or anonymize it within a reasonable period, subject to backup and legal retention requirements.
Rate-limiting and security logs are kept for a short period (typically up to 90 days). Analytics and advertising partners retain data according to their own policies.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
You may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Request deletion of personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Because we use Meta advertising tools that may constitute "sharing" under California law, you may opt out by emailing founder@duoviewpro.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share." You can also adjust Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request where required by applicable law.
Other U.S. states
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with privacy laws may have similar rights. Contact us at founder@duoviewpro.com to submit a request. We will verify your request before responding.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), bot protection, and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International visitors
DuoView Pro is based in the United States. If you access our website from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. U.S. data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Changes to this policy
